I have been w Ipsy since 2019! I get the bag with 5 regular sized items! I love it! I have only ever gotten 1 maybe 2 dupes but I lived the product so didn’t care! I have sensitive skin and have never had an issue w a product! I swear my last two bags even though I was like prefer to pick items myself I wasn’t able to buy they literally made amazing bags for me! Products that retailed for twice as much as I paid for the whole bag! Amazing brand names and perfect color choices! I know I would like I’m being paid to say this but I swear it always blows me away when people say they have issues.

Does anyone know if there is something similar I can buy without a subscription? I love the idea of a box full of random beauty products. A teen version of a “blind box” if you will? I’d love to be able to answer a few questions and get a semi-customized box of the latest trending beauty products.
Walmart has a small lot you can get but I’m sure it is also something you join for these things that is common: but you could always just go pick out a cute bag whether it’s specifically for make up or not you can get creative and pick out several single products at the dollar store that has wet n wild and other known brands and make a great bag ! One for nails too with naill brushes and tiles and clippers and polishes etc! No subscription there! I’ve donated a few bags w beauty items , hair clips and accessories etc. pick out of my stuff that’s new and I don’t need to women and teen shelter places . Especially w the women sometimes it takes just a little bit to make you want to look and feel better and get out there and get help and look for jobs!

I used to get Ipsy but after a while they stopped giving anything that was over an ounce of product. So we decided it wasn’t worth less than 2punces of products for $14. If they had given a full size when we had it plus 4 smaller ones? I’d have stayed. But it felt like I was paying for samples in 2018 so I had to quit. I hope they changed and realized that.

I sent a message to them on Facebook about how useless to me the bag was becoming (I was getting one full size but even it wasn’t for me) things weren’t my color, I kept getting acne stuff ( no acne) it’s like they didn’t read the questionnaire they made me feel out. I ALWAYS got a useless eyeshadow blending brush as one of my products. After my rant, they apologized, I’ve gotten maybe 1 or 2 eyeshadow brushes but the other products are great… so I guess it works to politely message them and comment on their latest post.
